The Rev. Harry Dunn, Pastor, and Sister Lillian Jordan, Principal at Sacred Heart Church and Grade School, share a joyful moment as they prepare for a new school year and the 50th anniversary of Sacred Heart School.
We begin the school with a real sense of excitement as we watch the construction of our new gym as well as new classroom improvements, high tech Smart Boards, computers, and textbooks.
Sister Lillian stated that the school emphasizes a strong academic program that challenges students to think, speak and act to the best of their God given abilities.
Our students are prepared to meet academic challenges through the experience of diverse teaching methods, the emphasis placed on reasoning and individual thinking, and the development of strong study skills.
Our teaching staff has a total of 129 years of teaching experience and all members are certified and have been trained in the Virus Program for Protection of Children.
Father Dunn stated that,"We believe that our school has the right people, with the right skills, at the right time, to do the job in educating your child."
We welcome student from all religious denominations and faiths, in grade levels Pre-School through sixth grade.
Kindergarten screening by appointment is $25.00
